In 1973 the Village of South River and the Township of Machar joined together and formed the South River-Machar Union Public Library. We serve approximately 2000 people in our beautiful and vibrant community. Our Library may be small but we are a very busy and important place for our patrons. We offer Books, DVDs, Magazines, e-books through Libby, public access computers and wi-fi access, snowshoe borrowing, photocopying, faxing and so many other services! Our weekly After School Club and Chess club are very popular.
